Trucks are an important part of mass transport. It is a medium of transport that is heavily trusted upon by many people. They carry all kinds of loads some of which may be vegetables, oil etc. The means by which they carry all these is a very interesting one. Most of them have a inbuilt body, apart from which a few other modifications can also be made. Trailers are a part of the latest improvement that has come in the past and 5th wheels is the latest to join the block. It is a very effective trailer in which the links are provided for a truck, tractor or lorry. It has various names in many countries owing to its origin. They call it turn-table in Australia and New Zealand. The coupling used is similar to the one used in a four wheeler or a carriage and it owes its name to that kind of methodology. Another variant is the tow hitch which takes the form of a tow-ball there by allowing swivelling and articulation of the trailer which is attached to the vehicle there by allowing smooth motion. Semi trailers are another kind which is made up of two trailers and it uses a road train combination.
